I know Sadie!! So many of us have major projects going this summer....you moved and are setting up your daycare, we're building a garage and painting the exterior of everything.
I'm starting to look forward to winter. ;)

Looking forward to winter? Hush now... I am SOOOOO not ready for that!

Winter here. We have our R/c Air conditioners going, only in our case On Heat.

GWB, LOL, just pick the first 5 things that fall out.
We're obviously not ready for winter either, but it will bring a respite from all this slave labor. ;)

Vest, every day brings summer a few minutes closer to you too.

I like the fact that you keep binoculars in your car! What a great idea. :)

ND, a leatherman tool is a folding needlenose pliers with screwdrivers and knives that fold into the handle...very handy.
Yeah, bubble lights and snow globes.

Miranda, we've used the binoculars way more in the truck, than we ever would have in the house. Although, with our birdfeeder and the skunks, we should probably get a pair for the house.

Knee brace. Ow. I have one wrapped around the handle of my sparring bag.

I might snarf this idea. :-)

Where the heck did you find the time to post this? I just posted some pictures I took last spring. :)
Appears I'm a bit behind.

Okay, I'm game! I'll do this because it should be fairly quick and will prevent me from posting yet another political rant, this time on gay marriage. :-&

Candace, my knee tends to crumple at the oddest times, so I always carry reinforcement.

Squirl, it's too hot to think, so this meme arrived at the perfect time!

Agreed VV. Something mindless is just what I needed right now.

What do you do with a leatherman tool in your purse? I guess it could come in handy in case of an attacker. :-P

Notta, several times I've fixed clasps on jewelry. I've also opened cartons and tightened screws. It's invaluable for changing batteries on gizmos that are screwed together. The wirecutters works great for cutting those stupid plastic ties used in packaging small items.
My girlfriends laugh at me, but EVERY one of them has used it at one time or another.

My wifes 5 things always in her purse went up to 10 after we were married. She swears I did it only because I would never have to carry my own wallet, car keys, interesting rocks, used kleenex and old batteries.

VERY true Davey. Now add to that all the stuff she has to carry around for the baby. From now on, Martha will be carrying little toys, wipes, juice boxes, band-aids, sunscreen, and misc. treasures that kids pick up and hand off to Mom. "Just put it in your purse for me."
Then you guys wonder why we carry huge purses. ;)

Reading my insurers qrtly vehicle mag, it stated that more than 75% were women who locked their car keys within the vehicle. most of these occasions were when out shopping and in a hurry to spend spend and spend. a spare car key in your purse or bag is essential.

should vests AIR CONS remain on heat, they could breed a fan or two for the summer cooling.

I feel sorry for men when it comes to purses. Women get big ol' bags to carry dozens of things; men just get a wallet and a pocket! How fair is that?
