Keep the Home Fires Burning

There's nothing homier than coming around the corner into the cabin yard, to be greeted by the smoke wafting from the chimney of the barrel stove!

I bet that was nice. We have an old fire place in the basement but its not hooked up and I think I would rather replace it than try to use the one down there. But we are going to see what happens with taxes first. Next year will be better than this year. But anyway I bet it felt nice to walk around that last bend and see the fire burning away nice and ready for you to walk into a warm cabin. That is one thing my parents and grandparents never had. If Ken wanted to go hunting he had to go with my godfather to his cabin. These are really some very beautiful pix. I love how you guys got the snow just right on the trees. That must have sucked for the rain though. Well J should be home in a bit. He had to work for a few hours this morning. Then we have to go to Wal Mart Supercenter and grocery shop. Its cheaper here for us.

I will also need an 8 x 10 copy of this photo, for legal examination purposes only, of course. Harumph!
