Wishing You a JOYOUS Christmas!!

I thought I'd share a bit of SME's fabulous artwork. These pictures were scanned from our Christmas gifts from SME and Doug. We always look forward to seeing SME's hand-decorated wrapping paper! The drawing above adorns L's and my Christmas gift. Note the glasses on L's pea.

Z's present bears a bit of twisted humor-quite appropriate for him. Z got quite a chuckle out of this drawing!

I'm off to the kitchen to begin creating our annual Christmas Eve fare. I LOVE holiday cooking!

May the PEACE of Christmas descend upon all of my beloved blog-friends!

WC, Z, my Dad, and I all keep bugging SME to write a children's book illustrated with her drawings, but she keeps ignoring us. Maybe she'll listen to you...

Love ya kiddo!

I really love the artwork! How original. Do you save bits of these each year for keepsakes?

I don't know if I'd call this stuff fabulous. I mean, I try, but it's not easy drawing on brown paper with Demi's dull and/or broken old crayons! ;D

Mr A, same to you! ;)

VV, of course! SME's been drawing this stuff since she was in grade school. I have a box full. Now, I just scan them and save them to CD.

Grizz, I hope you're feeling better!

Squirl, I'm always willing to brag about my kids! ;)

SME, next year I'll buy you a new box of crayons and a crayon sharpener. Just keep the pictures coming!

Great sense of humour! And great drawings to go with it.

Merry Merry Christmas!

Nice pictures (from both me and Mrs. Z).

Hope your Christmas is going well. We had plans, but the lady whose house we were going to is sicker than a dog (I don't know where that expression came from, but I can't think of anything else intelligent to say right now).

Merry Christmas!

The girls loved their Bouncy Balls. Those were the first things they wanted when all things were opened after their remote controlled Cars daddy bought them.. LOL... I think he bought the cars more for him than the girls..

ZS, glad you enjoyed them!
I hope you were able to throw together a spur-of-the-moment Christmas feast at home.
Merry Christmas to my favorite CA family!

Tweets, those balls are always a hit. My kids loved theirs!
They're a great way to burn off energy in the house during the winter.
Jeff should've stuck around here. Z would have shared his RC cars and played with Jeff. ;)

Bouncy balls are awesome. I wish they made 'em in adult sizes, 'cause I would totally be bouncing around the house right now. Maybe that's why I'm always tempted to buy one of those big exercise balls...

If SME can create such rib-tickling whimsy on brown paper with broken crayons, well, yeah, children's book! I vote a hearty YAY on that idea.

Thanks for a cheery post, TSHS!

Those are delightful - she should design cards and wrap and all sorts of things! I mean I think she could get lots of money - they are so delightful!

SME, the only problem with the exercise balls is they don't have a handle! I bought one to occasionally use as a desk chair. It forces me to sit up straight and tones the abs and leg muscles as I type.

Cherie, SME doesn't think this is a talent. I'm hoping that all of us here have convinced her otherwise. ;)

Helene, next Christmas will be extra special for you!

Gardenia, that's quite a compliment, coming from YOU!!
We ALMOST had her convinced to make cards one year. She even had a place to sell them.

Mike, I think the world needs more whimsy!

Mark, no problem! Now we just need to keep bugging her to WRITE THE BOOK!

Tweets, same to you guys! You have my sympathy! We do our best to avoid the New Year's drunks. :(
