They're Out to Get Us!

And we thought the idea of imbedded microchips was bad!

"Morgellons Disease appears to be a communicable nanotechnology invasion of human tissue in the form of self-assembling, self-replicating nanotubes, nanowires, and nanoarrays with sensors. Other nanoconfigurations associated with Morgellons Disease carry genetically-altered and spliced DNA or RNA. The nanomachines which precipitate Morgellons Disease use the human host's bio-electric energy as one of their power sources. There is evidence that certain of the tiny machines possess their own internal batteries as well. The Morgellons Disease nanomachines are configured to receive specific tuned microwave, EMF and ELF signals and radio data."

Apparently, according to a LOT of conspiracy theorists, we are being deliberately exposed to this communicable "nano disease". Some say we get infected by drinking tapwater, others say our immunization shots are laced with the disease.

Several web sites have pictures of people supposedly afflicted with Morgellons. To me, the "disease" looks like a bad case of eczema. The CDC actually looked into Morgellons, after being flooded with stories from the victims of this "disease". I haven't been able to find the results of the CDC's study. My guess is that they labeled it a mental disorder.

This is my final post in my series on whacky conspiracy theorists....for now. You never know when another conspiracy theory might tickle my funny bone.

This would be more interesting to study if it wasn't so gross. I made the mistake of watching YouTube vids posted by Morgellons folks who like to show us their "worms", "bugs", and "fibers" with comments like "How can this be delusional parasitosis if I found this tapeworm-like thing on my foot?!" Blgggh.

Hammer, now we can say we're infested by "nanomachines" whenever we feel itchy. I wonder if wood ticks are part of the conspiracy. Maybe they have batteries? ;)

SME, yeah, they sure know how to find gross looking things to photograph!

Bridg, unfortunately, they're serious! People, who believe this, have been known to cut their skin open to get at the "nanomachines". EWWWW!
It's a gov't conspiracy you know. ;)

I thought Morgellons disease is when you try to circumnavigate the globe but get killed by savages halfway across, yet you're still known as the guy who first circumnavigated the globe even though you didn't. Oh, wait. That's Magellin. Whoops.

OH NO, Hammer! That's the first symptom!!

"Morgellons" sounds like a department store to me.
- That's a gorgeous scarf, where did you find it?
- Morgellons! It was 50% off!

OK, now we're all going to hell for making fun of itchy people.

Oh brother. I havent heard of this but still its sort of gross to think about. But hey people do what they have to do just to get some fame in a few minutes here even if its on You Tube. No thanks though here. I dont need to see that gross crap.

I'm the last person who wants chips implanted in people, but come ON... use logical reasons like the ability of an unchecked executive branch via the patriot act tracking all sorts of information about people they define as "subversive"...

Maybe the nanomachines are in microwave popcorn....starts in the lungs, works to the skin......sheesh, I'm going to go lie down.

Cherie's on to something, here...Maybe the nanomachines are in microwave popcorn, Diet Coke, our water, and chemtrails. So just don't eat, drink, or inhale and you'll be fine.

ZS & SME, I thought Morgellons sounded like the heroine in a romance novel. ;)

Tweets, I think a lot of these people do it for the attention.

Laura, I blame the Patriot Act and our screwed up gov't for giving these loonies their conspiracy paranoia.

Cherie, you may be on to something! ;)

WC, yes, but do we know for certain that medical personnel aren't spreading this disease? ;)

SME, things will be better when we complete our transformation to crystalline life forms. ;)

My best friend from 4th grade's husband has this disease. I know how well grounded she is, so I believed what sounded like drug induced rantings and symptoms, because I know she is so well grounded. Imagine pulling these threads out of your body! The lumps appear and then the threads. I guess the torment is horrible, with the itchiness, pain, and creeps over what is going on in your body. And coming out of it. They can see the threads travel across his eyes.

This guy has been diagnosed with everything possible, physical and mental - the doctors haven't the slightest clue and don't want to be bothered with anything that does not fit in their medical books.

Re chips: My marketing teacher told us that some types of chips are already in use, implanted in clothing to track our buying habits as we transit from store to store. I don't think he was nuts. I mean, come on, look at Google Earth - I can zoom in on my house - how much more would it take to develop more detailed tracking of people?

Did you run across anything about the hurricane theories - that the government/corporations are in cahoots to destroy certain areas so super (money making) structures can be built and generate millions - and also to disperse the voting poor?

Gardenia, that's so sad that the doctors won't take your friend's condition seriously. I imagine it's because there are so many lunatics out there pushing this as a "nano-disease". :(

I've also heard that the strip on our newly designed currency can be detected by some sort of handheld scanner. Supposedly, whoever carries this scanner can tell how much money you have in your wallet, or house. Boy, would they be disappointed scanning us! ;)
I used to have a customer that wouldn't accept the new money when I made change for him.

Yeah, I ran across a LOT of hurricane conspiracies. Most of them are associated with chemtrails.

Labeled it a mental disorder, eh? I wonder why?

:-)

Squirl, I don't know why the CDC wouldn't believe in communicable, microscopic-battery-operated nano-diseases! ;)

Seriously though, I'd be interested in reading their findings, when they come out.

I think there would be some advantages to microchip implants, like finding missing children (there's a rumor that Prince William was chipped a few years ago). People fear that chipping will be used to locate them anywhere in the world whether they want to be found or not - but let's face it, that can be done anyway!
