Amway can just go down the tubes, as far as I'm concerned. I don't want the head of that stupid company as my governor either.

My daughter posted about her Amway research and got tons of nasty comments and emails. She's still getting them, 6 months later!
Why they look for blogs that ridicule their "cult" is beyond me.
Squirl, an Amway Governor is a scary thought! Way worse than nekkid Beverly Hillbillies. ;)
X, she didn't post her research. She printed it out, and used the information to deprogram her future husband. She had at least 2 reams worth of printouts!

This is fun! I've been trying to find a list of companies associated with Amway - I wasn't sure if Melaleuca was one?!! I want to be informed next time I hear someone rave about stuff...
Euro, Candace says Melaleuca is Amway too. I hadn't heard of that one until she mentioned it.

That actually makes sense... There was a lady at our church who "started her own business" and was always very fishy about what it actually was. I went to a "presentation" she gave and it turned out to be Melaleuca. I felt at the time that there was lots of helpful info (which is, as was pointed out in the comment section of the earlier post, potenitally bogus) but it also sounded like a "dangerous chemicals" witch hunt.
She didn't rope me in with the products (mainly because there was a membership you had to buy and on top of that a monthly minimum order... yeah, right!). Thank God!
Euro, that's how they make their money; from the memberships and minimum orders. Later, when you can't keep up your minimum order, they hit you with the training seminars(for a fee, of course), motivational tapes, and books.
