The Glow of a New Year
Our final weekend at the cabin couldn't have gone better, with the exception of the rain and slush. We saw out 2006 by the blue glow of the full moon, and welcomed 2007 with the golden glow of a clear winter morning.
I have to say I dont think its been that cold here yet. We have had a few cold days but havent been below zero yet this year. I could be wrong but I dont think so.
My best friend and I have been married for 32 years. We have a 31-yr-old daughter(my second best friend) and 17-yr-old son. We enjoy the simple life in rural Minnesota without the hindrance of high powered careers.

That's very pretty, but Brrrr!!
DC, it really wasn't bad. The low was only +22F. Normally New Year's is our coldest day of the year at -30F to -40F.

We got another Newscaster warning that it was goign to be terribly cold here, like in the 20's - and it wasn't. ;-)
Tweets, we've only had 1 below 0 night. We may get below tonight though.
LOL DC! I heard that forecast this morning. Your cold, is our unseasonably warm. ;)
That is some outhouse, but where is the cabin?
