Mad Rocks!

I copied the picture below out of Z's current Mad magazine. It's their version of the Pledge of Allegiance with corporate sponsors. Say it aloud, as you would the Pledge of Allegiance, to get the full effect.

Too funny, but don't let the corporate lobbyists see that!

Heh!! That's funny!!

OK, slightly related joke:

The pope has an audience with a Burger King rep who desperately wants the Pope to change the Lord's Prayer to include "Give us this day our daily Whopper." The Pope is not too keen on this, but the BK rep keeps raising the ante until finally the offer of $1 billion per year clinches the deal. The Pope calls his board after the meeting and tells them he has good news and bad news. "First, the good news," he says. "Burger King is going to be giving us $1 billion per year for changing the words to 'Give us this day our daily Whopper.' The bad news: someone's going to have to call and cancel the contract with Wonder Bread."

Love it Candace!

I always wonder that too GWB. Z wanted a subscription to Mad for his 13th birthday. We were happy to comply. We're ALL enjoying it now!

We were trying to think of a hip "single-person" magazine Wandering Coyote could read in place of "Canadian Living". I think you've found it! :D

Me too Squirl. I was surprised to find that they still have the same features they had when we were kids...Spy vs. Spy, movie parodies, fold-in jokes.
