I'm forever getting x-rayed as well, althoug I decided this recent ankle thing was my last for a while (not counting routine dental).

Gardenia, Heinlein is one of my favorite authors! He's also got a great sense of humor.
SME got me into blogging. It's a wonderful way to stay in touch!

Jason, I decide that all the time! I don't listen very well though. I just had another ankle x-ray a week ago. :(

LOVE that quote. Loved your list, too!

Nice things. Yes I agree with the other girls and guys. You would win the x-ray championship if there were to be one. lol... Since we had two acoholics in the family I have always been afraid to drink an acoholic beverage and I really dont care for the taste of it. I have a wine cooler once in a great while. Other wise its water, soda, or anything non acoholic for me. Esp around the girls. I get goofy after drinking. Well I suppose. I shall be going and will catch you girls and guys later. Have a good day now. Dont do anything I would do. LOL....

Wow, I never pegged you for a smoker... Not sure why. I like your unknown fact... it tells us everything and nothing at the same time... very clever

Her and scruch have smoked as long as I have known them. LOL... and that has been a while now.

I also share the heights phobia with you, but it's very specific. I freak over high bridges, high elevators and being in tall buildings. I have no problem climbing mountains, trees, ladders, ropes, you name it.

I have a hard time when we travel really. I have this fear of hitting some one. I think it has a lot to do with knowing what happens to cars when they are hit at a high speed. I get nervous and start moving my feet to where the brakes would be in the passenger seat and Jeff laughs at me all the time esp when we go over the bridge in Duluth to go home. I hate when I can see over the sides of the bridges. No thank you. If you could keep me on the ground I would be a lot better but in Duluth they have lots of big ships that go through so the bridges have to be some what high. Well I have some mopping to do before going to get K at 4:30 here. Really dont feel like doing it but it has to be done. Tweets.

SME, you WILL pay for that one! ;)

Laura, maybe you figured I was smart enough to know better? Apparently not. :(

VV, that's the "some heights" I was talking about. I think it's a control issue for me. When I'm on a ladder or climbing a tree or a cliff, I have control of the situation. I get vertigo while standing on the sidewalk looking UP at a tall building.

Tweets, I get that way when I'm the passenger, and it's icy. Or when L is driving in the mountains. I'm much more relaxed when I'm driving a mountain road. I guess it's that control issue again. ;)

I like pie better than cake. Fruit pies are good, but I can't stand coconut.

My drink of choice is usually red wine. But tonight I had a strawberry margarita.

Good Heinlein quote. I've read lots of his stuff.

Squirl, I like fresh coconut, but not the packaged shredded stuff.
Heinlein's one of my favorites. I LOVE his sense of humor!

VV, we MUST have some common genes!

I like your quote and I love your answer for why you don't like Spring. I'm a huge fan of Fall, as you know. We're a lot alike based on this little quizzy-poo.

Thanks ZF! We're a rare breed, aren't we? FYI, I DO fit the Sagitarrius profile.

GWB, why not partridge?
I thought you'd make a comment about the BIFOCALS. heehee

Sadie, I'm in good company then! ;)
My usual whine about spring is: "People that like spring, obviously don't have children or dogs!"
I HATE mud and slush!

Baby's keep you busy, don't they?
BTW, you ARE a cute pouter. ;)

WC, FINALLY, someone who agrees with me! My family thinks I'm nuts. I LOVE raw carrots and rutabegas, but once they're cooked, they're gross!

At 1/20/2007 7:41 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Raw rutabegga's yuckie. I have a hard time eating them when there cooked. For some reason they are just tart for me. Mom puts them in her stew and with carrots and pots. They are just gross. No thank you. Well going to a chess tournament this weekend. Will post how well he did on monday sometime. three rounds today and two tommorrow. So wotn be back till monday now unless I find a computer to use to check in while we are at the hotel. Talk later.

After eating a plate of lefse washed down with rum and coke and smoking a few 'dog end' re-roll fags, your breath must smell like a dead bears bum.
I stopped smoking 21 years back, and now drink only for medicinal reasons.
Poverty stricken people who smoke or drink, should not receive charity.
