On a Lighter Note

Not to be outdone by the fabulous SME, I decided to post the following SPAM EMAIL humor.

Eddie sent me this message pertaining to: "a sparrow I spit"

We are going to push thru your financing inquiry
Please could you this instant
we need you to finish up your remaining details on our web site
superrate006 dot c o m

Manhood volumes within, under doing nosebleed after ClassifyMachinelike vanderbilt has, long cominform andre possible Regarding

Avis Huchinson sent me a a hot stock tip titled: "a primordial an pretty"
Then there's:
gotmr 1 who wants to inform me about: "Priest Jailed in Part of Nuns Death"
Oddly enough, this was another stock tip.

Avis and gotmr must be new at phishing. They forgot to include a clickable link that would take me to their sites of scam. They didn't even write out their link as Eddie did.
HOW will I be able to invest in their hot stock tips if I don't have a link to their site?!

THIS JUST IN!
The labrador retriever has just been rescued off Mt Hood!
His fellow climbers, the IDIOT humans, have apparently all been rescued too. Who the hell takes a dog mountain climbing?
If I was the lab, I'd find me some new friends!

You guys. We havent had any problems with spam e-mail or pop ups since we switched to AT&T to be honest. I sometimes miss going through all the junk mail that we got ot see what it was. But its nice to know that I dont have to now. LOL.. Well each to there own really. I liked when we had roadrunner. It very similar to Charter really. It comes through the cable line. But we decided to switch to AT&T in late July when we found out there high speed internet was only 14.99 a month for the first year. If we want to keep that price we have to call them in June and ask for the special rate promotion they are giving us. But J doesnt think they are going to. We have had our problems with them with our regular bill and have threatened to cancel them. But they have been good the last few months. So we will see in June. Well I suppose I have ran my tangent about internet and phone service long enough here. LOL.. Talk later Tweets.

They are saying that the dog probably saved their lives.

I don't understand these climbers - what is WRONG with them? Then the God only knows how much money spent and risking lives to pull them out of there.

I am glad that the dog is okay, though.

I agree with Monicar here. I did see that one on tv. But tshsmom is right about all the junk mail. Its funny to read when you are getting it. But some of us just like life without all the hasles of it. LOL..

As for me, I could easily live another 50 years without one more offer to extend and enhance my penis (don't have one, don't need one, thank you very much). And I don't care how much money I've either inherited or won in the Nigerian lottery, I'm functioning fine just above poverty level, so please get someone else's bank account number in which to deposit these funds. I wish I had their e-mail addresses to return all their SPAM.

I have been thinking the same too, jees, if you are going to phish, at least learn how to speel or mak a 4 reasonable gud centence.

Poor lab - I'm also having a hard time today understanding what some people are using for brains (see my rat crap post.)

Tweets, we only have 3 choices for internet service up here, AT&T isn't one of them. We only get 3 or 4 spam emails a week on our home email.

SME, I KNEW you'd be jealous. I had to oneup you....neener, neener! ;)

Monica, I totally agree! Mountain climbing is NOT a winter sport!
Now the rescuers are saying that tax dollars aren't spent on rescues as they all volunteer their time! Ummm...pardon me..WHO'S paying for the helicopters and fuel?

VV, I DO reply to all these emails. 99% of them are returned, saying there's no such email address. I can't believe that anybody is stupid enough to give these people vital information!

Gardenia, LOL, I LOVE your "gud centence"!
I don't think people like that have brains. Their bodies function solely through their adrenal glands!

SME, true, but does sloth know about Manuel? Two-timer! ;)

I guess thats not to bad then. I know we had so many in one day with some of internet providers. I am sorry to hear you dont have AT&T up there. But if its only a few a week that isnt bad. I dotn miss the junk mail though. Well I suppose. K is having a hard time getting her shoes on. And B's trying to push K out the door with her coat and gloves. Its funny some mornings. Well enough on that. Thanks for the advice over on my blog. Tweets.

Yeah, that dog definitely needs new friends. Ones, preferably, with user-friendly brains.

I've been getting e-mails from some pottery place in France. I couldn't tell you the rest of it because I saw that it said something about money exchange being better here or something so I figured, the new Nigerian scam.

Before we switced we were getting these e-mails from some one that wanted our bank account number to put large sums of money into our american account and then we will be paid large amoutn sums if we allow them to do so. I know my mom got an e-mail like that and told the guy or woman that she would never do it. I just delete those when we get them. I have no intentions of giving some stranger our bank account stuff where they can take what money we have. LOL.. Very little money but that is how these people get rich though. Anyway. I will have an update on our roof after tomorrow. The guy is going to come over with a contract tonight and we are going to talk him down a bit. We have plans for this year that might work and then have him come back and replace some of the smaller stuff. Tweets.

Squirl, I wonder how many people are actually sucked in by these pathetic scams?

ZF, or some common sense!

No, Sloth doesn't know about Manuel and neither Maneul nor Sloth know about whoever the other guy was, I can't remember his name.

avis and gotmr aren't as dumb as you think. Their email is aimed at folks who use sites like etrade. Here is how it works:

You buy a small cap stock for a very low price. You then send out a phony evaluation through a number of different means like phish emails, phony small cap investment journals, investment chat rooms, blogs... anyplace to get some people to start bidding the stock up. Once the stock starts going up, other investors begin to take notice and bid it up further. As soon as activity starts to slow, our phishermen sell their stock, make a nice profit, and watch as the stock tumbles back to it's original price or worse.

this is, of course, highly illegal stock manipulation, but the spoils cn be pretty rewarding and the chances of getting caught very low.

Thanks, GWB! It's great to learn something new every day. I can't say this will come in handy for me, but at least I get to explain it to other people and look smart. ;D

Mom, are you implying I COULDN'T get three creepy admirers?! I could, ya know. I could. ;P

p.s. re the lab...too bad that there isn't a government (or Humane Society) group in charge of taking pets away from stupid owners.

Or from blapping the owners silly.

I declare this "Don't Take Your Dog on a Mountain for No Apparent Reason" week. You don't celebrate it, you just...don't take your dog on a mountain for no apparent reason. Dogs everywhere will thank me for this.

;)

SME, you've had several creepy admirers, including your ex! You just haven't had 3 at ONCE. Thank God!

SB, SME gets a LOT of those too. We just get stock tips, loan apps, and offers for illicit Rx drugs.

I'd love to kick that dog owner's butt around the block a couple of times!

SME, Hairry has been begging us to take him mountain climbing, but I keep telling him NO! Somebody has to be the ADULT in these situations. ;)

You had me laughing so hard at that one I had tears just now. K had to ask why I was crying. I wasnt crying I was laughing so hard. Trying to explain that one to a six year old though. I agree these people though. YOU do NOT take dogs Mountain climbing. Poor puppy. Hope hes ok. Well gotta run for now. Take care. Tweets.

Tweets, the dog's name is Velvet, and she's a lab-cross. She received a few minor injuries. She kept the 3 people who fell off the cliff, alive, by sharing her body warmth.

At 2/25/2007 4:13 PM, Blogger tweetey30 said...

That is terrible. I heard minor bits of this on the news here but not all of it. They didnt run the whole story here on the news. This is stuff they either keep for sixty minutes or 20/20 on Friday nights. I dont understand it but people do the damndest things with there animals. Well at least puppy is ok and I guess she did save her masters but still. That must have been rough. Well off to finish my chili for supper. Its in the crock pot and simmering. I need to start the noodles everyone likes with them and shred the mild cheddar cheese I have spoiled everyone with. Chili isnt chili without cheese in it also. At least not in our house. LOL...Well catch everyone later.

Oh, I think I've had 3 or more admirers at once. When it rains it pours... all other times it's the Dust Bowl. ;D
