THIS Face.....
.....was worth driving 300 miles to see!!
This is our great-niece Sydney. This is the first time we saw her, and she'll be 3 next month!
In this picture, she has a firm grip on her favorite slave's jeans. "Come push me on the swing Uncle L!"
We had a FANTASTIC trip. This little munchkin made the whole trip worthwhile! More pictures and stories to come. I'm too tired tonight. ;)

a definite cutie!
And SUCH a character!! She's soooo much like her Daddy was at that age. He deserves EVERY MINUTE of her antics! ;)
Aww! What a cutie. I hope you took more pictures!
She can't POSSIBLY be as bad as her dad.... ;D
Just wait till we come home in July. Oh by the way we have decided to come home from July 1st to the 3rd. Sorry Sme but J couldnt get the time off that you guys have decided to come so we arent going to make it this year unless you and R change your plans and I dont expect that one of you. Just letting you know. Tshsmom I will have recent pix of the girls out in the mail on Thursday.
So you got away for a while? AWESOME! And I'm sure the place didn't fall down while you were away, right? I'm so glad for you.
Oh she's precious! So glad you got to go see her. Now rest up, because it's back to the grind for you! ;-)
What a cute kid! Her father will be in over his head when she's a teenager. ;)
SME, oh yes she CAN! Syd is living proof that the "Mother's Curse" works. He can't understand how she comes up with all the stuff she does. ;0
Tweets, I hope we'll get some time to spend with your family. We're booked solid that week. :(
WC, Boss had to close the place on Saturday, as I didn't volunteer to work on my Saturday off. Maybe this will teach her to get somebody trained?
VV, Syd is even more precious because she's so much like her Daddy, who we had a big hand in raising!
ZS, we all kept telling him that! ;) He thought raising a little girl would be easier than a boy....he's learning....the hard way. mwahahahaha
Little precious face!! So sweet, unworried, full of joy! Thanks for sharing.
(Glad to hear you took your Saturday off! You go!)
Cherie, her joy was contagious!
Boss never did ask me to work. She just kept hinting...and whining. I didn't take the bait. I also didn't feel ONE BIT guilty, which makes me VERY proud of myself!
Yeah! Finally a good tired!
Shawn, yup, a warm-fuzzy tired! Thanks for the encouragement.
I am trying to talk J into leaving late Saturday night where we have Sunday to visit for a few hours if you are home. I dont know if you have to do catering on Sundays or not. Let me know and we will figure something out.
She really looks like she's full of it. I love it. How nice for you.
Tweets, Sunday is perfect!
Squirl, You nailed it! This picture was taken at the end of the day, with NO NAP, and she was still going strong! We're betting that Sydney didn't make it out of the driveway before falling asleep in her carseat.
Well, I'm hoping we can leave a little early to see you and the family, Tweets, but I don't know yet. At least you'll get a vacation, though, and sometime maybe you can head out this way! :)
I STILL can't quite believe Syd is as bad as her dad or uncle... Remember when they chased each other around the bathroom, leaving a crazy pee trail?! ;D
I'm proud of you, too!
You have been tagged. LOL..
SME, Syd's not as bad as J! The difference is that Syd's parents WATCH her, which D and T NEVER did!
You guys can't leave early enough to see Tweets. Besides, we can't get time off that week! Stick with the original plan.
Thanks Cherie! ;)
OH, one could easily become a slave to this one!
Gardenia, our 3 hearts are now the property of Sydney!
